She was great for watercolor with that face. She caught me drawing her but then I got this smile of sorts so I continued. She knew what I was doing. I finished this in the studio but gave her two pages in my little moleskine.

Sketching on this rainy day down by the river. I tried to quicky capture some concrete debris that had been dropped there. 90lb paper in a sketchbook of about 9 X 12". Watercolor of course.

This was in 1976..... it was used for training artists in portraiture as it had been use by mentor to me. I remember when I first painted this and was so proud.....funny looking at it now. Memories.
